Prayer is simply communication with God. It is communion between our hearts and God’s. It is talking and listening, speaking and waiting to hear Him speak back to us. At NCC it is very important to us that each family member have a growing and dynamic prayer life with God. Prayer comes in a variety of expressions from speaking, to singing, to being silent, to ‘praying’ Scripture, and our desire is to nurture and equip each of our family members in how Jesus taught His followers to pray.
We feel the Lord has highlighted a number of prayers from Scripture specifically for NCC. A few of those primary prayers from Scripture include Ephesians 1, 3, Isaiah 61: 1-3, and 2 Corinthians 9:6-15.
